It started as a dark gloomy day for foods students. The rain ceased and before we knew it, we were having fun on our farm adventure. It including swishing through the grass, squishing through the mud, crossing the creek, sampling homemade cider and freshly made apple and sage sausage and visiting with animals galore. We hope you enjoy our farm to table experience as much as we did. By the end of the trip, the sun was shining and more smiles surfaced. We took our farm fresh vegetables and meat back to the classroom table and vegetables were washed, peeled, chopped and ready for oven roasting.
Our egg unit includes fresh garden herbs, farm sausage and the roasted CSA vegetables. It’s definitely a farm to classroom table experience.
