Nutrient Pizza

We rolled out our six nutrients today when we made homemade pizza. Foods 1 students were able to choose from a variety of fruits and vegetables to top their homemade whole wheat crust.

Cheese is a must for protein and fat.

We had some delicious looking pizzas and we decided many were healthy since we used the white whole wheat flour and added vegetables.

Some students chose to add fruit, like pineapple. YUMMY!

Groups learned how to roll their crust and top with wholesome choices.
