Foods 2 students are gearing up for the enterprise unit by selecting protocol to sell. We took it to the first level by voting on a sweet treat and then running a test drive.
They quickly learned the idea of a krispy on a sucker stick wasn’t working out. Students decided to keep them dipped in white chocolate, but modify the design. It went from rectangle to round. Christmas colored sprinkles were added to give it a pop.
Next they addressed attractive packaging. We chose a clear treat bag and decided two would be enough to sell for a $1. The students agreed this was worth a $1, but I’m curious to see how well they sell to students made by students. It was a productive protocol lab.
