Foods 1 and 2 took a field trip to the beautiful Biltmore Estate at the Stable Cafe.
Students are divided up and have a chance to see demos on the culinary side, baking and pastry side, and front of house! From there we made make our way down to the Antler Hill Village Farmyard. Our tour guide, Chip Bryan, told the students about the Farm to Table practices and various career options at Biltmore. We wrap up around 12 and students are able to explore the farmyard or Antler Hill Village.
Many students expressed an interest in a culinary field and this is the perfect way to get them interested.
