After a week long study of nutrients, Foods 1 students learned a new acronym:
Foods class makes very wise people.
All these nutrients combined to go on their complex carbohydrate personal pizza.
Students had a nutrient bar to choose veges and they had to chart which nutrients were being used on their pizza.
Big hit to build your own pizza.
We used limited pepperoni and cheese because it’s saturated fat.
Our focus was nutrients, baby!
Now that’s nutrient pizza.
