Saint Patty’s Pretzels

IMG_5508We celebrated the holiday reviewing yeast breads and cleaning techniques. Of course, we had to shape our pretzels like shamrocks.

IMG_5483A little more practice with the dough hook.

IMG_5506Some dough sculpting is always a hit.

One long 12-inch rope, five cuts later we have a shamrock.

IMG_5510Way to go Gabby, such a fine looking four leaf clover!

Shape, brush with beaten egg.

IMG_5508Sprinkle coarse sugar and bake for 8-10 minutes-Voila, soft pretzels.


Who said you can’t find a four-leaf clover?
