One of my favorite labs is to see ways students use 1 cup of leftover rotisserie chicken for a one-dish meal. This group did a fantastic job combining fresh vegetables with some chicken for a colorful meal.
I always feel like it’s a learning experience for them to choose what they want to make a stay within a $5 budget. All students have a different taste.
Students chose black beans, rice, corn, vegetables and pasta as favorite fillers.
